Quick Setup Guide

Congratulations on your purchase of the Heys Smart Luggage®
  • 1. Turning on the Smart Luggage®

    - Open your Smart Luggage®
    - Take the TSA lock keys that are inside the luggage and store them in a safe place outside the luggage. These are your backup keys to open the lock, always have it with you when you travel.
    - Unzip the interior lining of the rear compartment to access the power unit.
    - Open the battery cover by turning the screw lock counter-clockwise.
    - Place (2x) AAA batteries (included) inside.
    - The TSA lock will activate and the lights will turn blue, indicating that the luggage has been powered on.

  • 2. Downloading the Heys Smart Luggage® App

    - Visit the Apple App store or Google Play store
    - Search for the Heys Smart Luggage® app
    - Download the app
    - Open the Smart Luggage® app and register an account to access the Black Box™ Smart features.

  • 3. Pairing your Smart Luggage®

    - Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone.
    - Tap the Smart Luggage® icon from the main menu and then tap the Pair icon.
    - The LED lights up red when the luggage is successfully paired.
    - Once connected, you will be prompted to name your luggage.
    - Name your luggage and tap Add Luggage to complete the set up.

    NOTE: Be sure to store the keys in a safe place outside the luggage. This is your backup key to open your lock, always have it with you when you travel.
